Lucie with Bandage

  Lucie entertaining her mom and me. She is just getting over a staph infection that she contracted on her arm after a trip to Mexico. She has to keep a bandage on the infection until it is entirely healed, but she seems to feel pretty good.

Flying to Mackinac Island

  You can see the Grand Hotel--it is the big white thing on the far island. Mackinac is a lot of fun--no cars allowed on the island. The weather was so cool that we were wearing fleece! Here is a link to our course for our entire trip: http://home.mchsi.com/%7Eshoskins/Michigan_trip.pdf

We rode around the island (eight miles) and also took a side trip (four miles) to find a geocache. We expected to be sore, but we were just tired.
