Even with SPF 50 sunscreen and spending all my time in the shade, I still get sun at the air show.

The Great Air Race reality movie is Cancelled!

I kept hoping for a loophole. The producer's financial backers provided it by pulling out yesterday. It would have been quite an adventure, but I was not looking forward to some of the rules--breakfast at 4 a.m., wearing a pilot's uniform with the shirt tucked it, and on and on. Whew!! Close call.

Taylor Jo is 11!!

Sam and I took Lucie to Topeka to spend the weekend with Cherish and her family and to celebrate Taylor Jo's 11th birthday. We had a great time and enjoyed seeing all our grandchildren at the same time!

Michael, Matthew, Lucie, and Shelby (left to right) enjoyed creating their own waterslide while they waited for Scott to get the Bonzai slide set up. Unfortunately, just as the big slide was in operation, a storm came up and they only got to slide a couple of times before Lucie had to go back home to St. Louis. Anyway, it was great having my little city granddaughter visit down here in the country!
