First Grandson

Fisher Samuel, born December 18, 2006, at 11:19 a.m., 8 lbs. 14 oz., 20.5 in. Isn't he beautiful? You can't see his hair, but it is perfect, too. Congratulations to Cherish for making it all look so easy; to Brent for getting his fishing buddy; to Taylor Jo for being a Big Sister; and to Grandpa Sam for the honor of having a namesake! We are so excited about seeing him. This will be a truly joyous Christmas visit.

This was taken at St. Margaret's of Scotland where Lucie's school performed their Christmas musical. Lucie and Marissa were quite the hams bowing in unison after each number.

Sam's birthday 2006

Hannah, Sandy, Sam, Jenny, and Cherish celebrated at 17th Street Bar and Grill.

Torreon, Mexico

According to our guide, this is the second tallest statue of Jesus in the world. It is on a mountain and overlooks Torreon. Sam's company is moving part of their operation to Torreon, and he is tasked with helping smooth the process. We spent Thanksgiving week there. His co-workers there were unable to find a place that served turkey on Thanksgiving, so we ate steak.
